We're looking for a service-oriented HR Manager to join a start-up company working in circular economy. This stock listed company focuses on research and innovation in material technology. The position is located in Espoo.

You will provide comprehensive support for all HR-related matters, ranging from the management and operational processes to the leadership of strategic projects and initiatives. You're confident working with daily operational matters that add value to the business, including the administrative tasks of the office. You're also comfortable managing tasks such as advising leaders on employment legislation, planning recruitments, conducting interviews, and supporting managers in people-centric processes such as annual performance and development evaluations. Moreover, your visionary perspective enables you to identify and execute a diverse range of actions that foster the growth and development of both the organization and its people.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll be responsible for all employee relations and labor legislation matters. You'll ensure compliance with various regulations and company policies and provide advice to leaders regarding employment matters. You are responsible for working with outsourced Payroll.
  • You'll be involved in resourcing, including resource planning with managers, recruitment and selection.
  • You drive people processes, and maintain HRIS data, ensuring data quality as well as Payroll compliance.
  • You facilitate a good work culture, drive employee engagement and work wellbeing. You'll be developing our leadership culture proactively, together with our line managers.
  • You are enthusiast to plan and implement competence development activities to support professional development and the competitiveness of the organization.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an operational and strategic HR role in a multicultural and matrix environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and practices.
  • Experience in all aspects of people management across the employment lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge and vision on managing organizational changes and facilitating the organization’s growth.
  • Ability and willingness to master administrative office tasks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in both Finnish and English.
  • Ability to navigate in fast changing environment and transfer plans into concrete actions.
