Area Sales Manager for OTR

Bridgestone is now looking for a new Area Sales Manager for OTR to its location in Finland.

Area Sales Manager is responsible for providing ongoing support to high value clients, and to implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and to identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts. Also, Area Sales Manager is a Key Account Manager for OE customers.

Main responsibilities of Area Sales Manager for OTR are to

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
  • Provide ongoing support to high value clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service.
  • Possess very detailed product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business.
  • Take responsibility for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
  • Organize visits to current and potential clients.
  • Take responsibility for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments.
  • Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced.
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients business needs.
  • Have strong focus on “hands on” working in the area (monitoring, iTrack, TMS web etc.),
  • Have fleets approach, training, evaluating on fleets premises in different locations in Finland.

Experience & expertise

  • Strong experience in sales
  • High level technical competence 
  • Very good numerical understanding
  • Some experience in SAP
  • Good to very good knowledge of MS Excel, preferably also dealing with macros and MS Access
  • Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint is an advantage


  • Business and/or technical studies or comparable education

Language skills

  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish 
  • Good written and spoken English

The role is indeed a great opportunity for the sales person with technical capability and willingness to travel, mostly in Finland but occasionally abroad, too. The office is located in Suutarila, Helsinki, but the job is conducted flexibly, in a hybrid way.
